2021 Virtual Sydney Rare Book Week

Do you like books and reading as much as we do at the Phoenix? Well, you are in for a rare treat.

The State Library of NSW has announced that the Sydney Rare Book Week, which runs from the 25th to the 29th October 2021 will be held online this year.

While the onsite Sydney Rare Book Fair was unable to go ahead, the coordinating committee for the related Rare Book Week, which includes representatives from cultural institutions across Sydney, was determined to curate an informative and entertaining series of events.

Every day at 4 pm, a panel will discuss the importance of books, memorabilia, historical records and collecting, followed by a Q&A session.
