The Wine Communicator Awards recognise outstanding contribution to, and excellence in, wine communication in all its forms. The Awards provide a wonderful opportunity for individuals or teams to showcase their outstanding contribution to the wine industry through their communications efforts.
Entries are sought across 10 categories of communications. Outlined below are highlights from categories with a focus on wine education.
Best Wine Communicator - Cellar Door
In recognition of the cellar door professional who most effectively engages their customers and delivers a memorable brand experience.
This award acknowledges an individual with a demonstrated depth of both brand and wine knowledge, as well as an ability to engage with customers in a way that is both memorable and relevant to their needs.
Best Wine Student
In recognition of excellence in wine studies by a current student, studying at tertiary level.
This award acknowledges an individuals’ high achievement in their studies, demonstrating exceptional research skills, thorough understanding of their wine topic and ability to communicate their findings in an outstanding piece of written work.
Best Wine Educator
In recognition of an individual, group or institution with a proven ability to create, communicate, and impart wine-specific knowledge in an engaging and formal education-based manner, both in writing and face-to-face workshops or classes. This award is open to university or TAFE lecturers, sommeliers, wine educators or conference presenters who are active in building knowledge about wine and how to communicate to others about wine.
