Murrumbateman Field Days an Unqualified Success

Kudos to the Murrumbateman Progress Association for the Murrumbateman Field Day (15th & 16th October 2022). After cancellations in 2020 and 2021, the 2022 event was bigger and better than ever before, and as for the organisation – well, it was second to none.

The first people that visitors saw were the car parking marshals, who were friendly and professional. Concerns about cars getting bogged were unwarranted, as the surface for us on the North-side of the grounds was well prepared and sanded. The second people that visitors interacted with were the ticket gate officials, who again were courteous and very helpful. The stalls were numerous and varied, so there was something for everyone. A big thank you to the local Scouts who kept bins emptied and tables hygienically wiped. The shows were well-timed and a lot of fun for the whole family. It also helped that the Gods were smiling on us and the weather was glorious.
