The new Murrumbateman Public School welcomed its first students last week.

The $38 million project delivers brand new facilities and includes flexible learning spaces, special programs rooms, a covered outdoor learning area and library, green space and administrative facilities.

Member for Goulburn, Mrs Wendy Tuckerman, said that the new school will improve educational outcomes and help students develop skills and knowledge in new and exciting learning facilities.

“I’m so pleased to see Murrumbateman Public School open today and I know the students and teachers will appreciate their new classrooms. It will be a brilliant place to learn,” Mrs Tuckerman said.

Minister for Education and Early Learning Sarah Mitchell is excited to see the historic investment of school infrastructure continue in 2023.

“This new school is a great example of this government’s commitment to education and to a stronger regional NSW, supporting communities across NSW and enhancing opportunities for students to learn and achieve,” Ms Mitchell said.
