Seeking First Responders to Participate in the 2022 New York Marathon

Fortem Australia has put out a call to first responders to identify and select four dedicated participants in the 2022 New York Marathon, which is being held on Sunday, 6th November 2022.

John Bale, CoFounder and Managing Director of Fortem Australia explained, “After many turbulent years of natural disasters, a global pandemic, and the ongoing challenges that confront our first responders across the country, we wanted to promote a positive news story, and get behind a team that can represent our nation – and first responder wellbeing - in this grueling marathon.

“We are looking at linking with our American counterparts to raise a challenge and more importantly promote and encourage four worthy participants with a full support crew for the event.

“With over 360,000 first responders across the country, there is no doubt we will see some incredible candidates. We will start promoting the participants early August, once selection has been completed”, said Mr Bale.
