It’s very hard to sit by and listen to the news about the recent flood in Central Western NSW. People have lost their lives; homes have been washed away; whole communities have been displaced.
Here are a couple of great ways in which you can help.
You can donate to the NSW State Emergency Service (NSW SES). NSW SES is the lead agency in the response to floods, storms, fires and tsunamis in NSW. The NSW SES also supports other emergency services in times of natural and man-made disasters and is committed to building safer and more resilient communities.
You can donate to the NSW SES on line: https://www.ses.nsw.gov.au/get-involved/donations/ Or you can mail your cheque to: PO BOX 6126, WOLLONGONG NSW 2500
The NSW Country Women’s Association’s (CWA) NSW Disaster Relief Fund, is used to assist Australians in need due to floods, fires, drought or other circumstances. This fund is tax deductible, and your tax receipt will be emailed to you. You can donate on line: https://www.cwaofnsw.org.au/Web/Web/Donate/Donate_Now.aspx. Or else donations can also be sent by a cheque or money order to CWA of NSW, PO Box 222, MASCOT, NSW 1460.
